With the PlusMaximizer extension installed, you have the choice of initializing your disks as MacOS Standard (HFS), Mac OS Extended (HFS Plus), or Mac OS Maximized (HFS Plus with the smallest possible allocation block size), if the disk is 32 MB or larger. If you want to be able to get the most files on your disk and have the maximum disk storage efficiency with the smallest possible allocation block size, PlusMaximizer is your only choice! Note: Do not install the PlusMaximizer extension in a version of the Mac OS older than MacOS 8.1.
